new Google
Company Announcing fundamental changes to the enterprise search engine. According to the source, the radically updated Google Search will be presented at the Google I/O conference, which will take place on May 10. However, the list of changes is already known, at least in part.
- The company will first integrate the Magi neural network, which it created specifically for these purposes, into the search engine. As a result, the search will become much more personal: it will certainly begin to take into account all your queries, previously read and viewed material, as well as other data that Google collects in different applications and on different devices.
- The new page will include conversations with artificial intelligence, as in ChatGPT or Bing AI, but within the search itself.
- Also, search results will no longer have the usual 10 links per page. Google is moving away from this scheme in favor of dynamic rendering with links, videos, social media posts, and more. As a result, the search will be more diverse and will not include only classic articles on the sites.
- If the user wants to find something for which there is no definite answer, for example, a recipe or some household action (repairs at home or in the car), Google will show him more content from social networks.
As the source points out, these changes are a response to significant changes in the way people access information on the Internet, including the advent of the aforementioned AI systems. Google has dominated the search market for years, but with the entry of ChatGPT and other neural networks, it has really sprung for its position.
