The collaboration between Samsung and the Italian brand Diesel has resulted in official cases for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Initially, the products are officially sold on the company’s website, but only to the public in certain countries such as Italy and Malaysia. The dates of their arrival to other territories of the European continent or even here, to Brazil, are not called.

The purpose of this partnership is to encourage users to reveal more of their identity and authenticity through cases. Available in black and white, they feature a giant Diesel logo on the back and the words “For Successful Living”. The back can also be replaced, Samsung also sells a red color version separately. A strap is also sold separately and can be purchased with a discounted case.

According to the official description, they have a rubberized effect on the letters to better adapt to the marks of your hands, and are also resistant to impacts such as falls or bumps. In Italy, the product is priced at €34.90 (approximately R$190 as of May 8, 2023); the red back alone costs 23.90 euros (approximately 130 reais under the conditions already presented) and the strap costs 29.90 euros (approximately 163 reais). If you buy the strap or the back along with the case, the package costs 54.90 euros (approximately 300 reais).

Samsung will survive in 2023

It’s worth remembering that Samsung captured a large share of the market in early 2023, according to a survey released by Counterpoint Research. The Galaxy line accounted for 22% of smartphone sales in the first quarter, versus 21% for Apple’s iPhones. However, the collection of both is still far away.

While Apple holds over 80% of the market share, Samsung hasn’t even reached 10% – despite remaining in second place. Below both is Xiaomi, which came in third.
