Before we begin to explain what these LITTLE F5 and LITTLE F5 Pro offer us, it is important to emphasize that in the case of the latter, either we can talk about the upper middle class or the high-end entry point, because the consideration of these segments is very variable and in most cases something completely personal. Be that as it may, whether we want to fit them into this or that brand or decide to do without them, the proposal is really attractive.
Some time ago, leaks about these new smartphones started coming from the ever-reliable POCO, which indicated that their launch was imminent. Now the wait is over and as we can see by reviewing its specifications, all indications are that the wait was worth it. So, since you surely want to know what they offer us, let’s go straight to their specifications.

As you can see, there are many points where both models agree, although there are enough differences between them to fully justify the jump that the company made between the POCO F5 and its older brother, the Pro model. The first difference is found in the screen, because despite the fact that both are practically the same size (the Pro is 0.03 inches smaller), the POCO F5 has a resolution 2400 x 1080 pixelswhile on the POCO F5 Pro it increases up to 3200 x 1440 pts and it is also compatible with Dolby Vision. In both cases, it reaches its refresh rate 120 hertzthey have a standard brightness of 500 nits, represent 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and are mounted for your protection Corning Gorilla Glass Victory.
Inside, controlling both devices, we also find different SoCs. For the POCO F5, the company opted for the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, marking the debut of this Qualcomm chip on the market. The POCO F5 Pro makes a leap up and mounts the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a slightly older chip but with higher performance. In both cases, we found models with 8 and 12 GB of RAM along with 256 gigabytes of storage, but the Pro also offers us a more ambitious configuration, 12 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes storage space.
In terms of connectivity, the two models are practically identical, with only one small but noticeable difference, which is The POCO F5 has an audio minijack, but we don’t find it in the Pro. For the rest, in the wireless part, both models offer 5G dual SIM, which is complemented by WiFi a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, geolocation with main satellite and infrared networks for IR Blaster. And of course, in both we find a USB-C port for data and battery charging, 5,000 milliamps for the F5 and 5,160 milliamps for the F5 Pro, both with a fast charging function of up to 67 watts. And in this regard, another noteworthy detail is that the phone includes a fast charger for both models.
We found no differences in the photography section. Both models offer a main camera composed of three elements, a 64-megapixel wide-angle with f/1.79 and which acts as the main sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera. They also match in the front camera, which in both cases is located in the hole at the top of the screen, which emits a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 number.
The new POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro are already on sale on the POCO website and They have special prices from today until May 16th. These are the configurations for sale, along with their regular prices as well as introductory offers:
