A AliveChinese smartphone maker released its latest device, Vivo Y78 5G.

Your new cell phone is an intermediate device with a processor Size 7020fast charging and big battery, and for now it will only be released in China.

Another mid-range smartphone variant is available for the Chinese public. The Vivo Y78 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7020 chipset, a rebranded version of the Dimensity 930. It is an octa-core processor based on a 6nm process with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. It has 8/12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSD card slot.

Its display is a 6.64-inch Full HD+ (2388×1080) IPS LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 394 PPI pixel density and 91.06% screen-to-body ratio. Also on the screen, we have a small notch on the front for the 8MP selfie camera. On the back is a dual camera module with a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main sensor and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 portrait sensor. To power it all, the Y78 5G uses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

Other features include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual-band Wi-Fi support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and support for AI face unlock. It uses the Origin OS 3 interface based on Android 13 and is available in Black, Jade Porcelain Blue, and Phoenix Feather Gold color options.

Vivo Y78 5G was launched this Wednesday (10) in China, but there are no forecasts for a global launch yet. Its version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is priced at 1399 yen (approximately 1000 reais).
