New legislation prohibits government agencies from issuing identification cards to undocumented individuals, in addition to increase penalties for crimes related to human trafficking and strengthen the federal database for migrant status verification, among other things.

United States President Joe Biden himself foresaw that the next few days would be “chaos” due to the end of Section 42, which resulted in several Republican states such as Texas or Florida, enter additional measures on a table in front of a “crowd” of migrants at the border with Mexico.

This was stated by Minister of National Security Alejandro Mayorcas. the new rule will mean harsher consequences for migrants who cross the border illegally and that, if caught, they could be deported and ineligible for asylum in the United States for five years.
“We clearly state that our border is not open.that illegal border crossing is against the law and that those who are not eligible for assistance (asylum) will be quickly returned, ”Majorcas said earlier at a press conference in Washington.
