A select group of advertisers will be invited to experiment with the tools, which the company calls an “AI Sandbox,” Meta executives said.
They declined to specify exactly how many advertisers will have access to the site, stating that the group will be small.
They said Meta plans to roll out more advertisers in July and integrate some features into general-purpose ad products later this year.
The announcement marks the Facebook and Instagram owner’s first step towards launching products that use generative artificial intelligence technology that processes massive amounts of acquired data to create new content such as prose, images, and software code.
