Cloudflare, which provides internet security services to businesses in our country and around the world, also disclosed that they are facing increasing numbers of cyber-attacks and recently prevented the largest cyber-attack they’ve encountered to date. Germany-based car rental giant and also in our country Sixt, the jersey sponsor of Galatasaray have also undergone a similar cyber attack and have experienced major disruptions to their systems.

Sixt users can’t get support due to system failure

However, what the company put on the agenda today was the cyber attack they suffered. Sixt’s statement confirmed that they had been cyber-attacked. The attack began to manifest itself through some irregularities in the company’s infrastructure. Despite being noticed and acted upon in a short period of time, Sixt’s customers were severely affected by this situation.

Sixt went to great lengths to keep their websites and apps up and running in the immediate aftermath of the attack. However, major failures continue to occur in the system. Customers state that they can’t get support for the cars they rent and that there are issues with customer service. Sixt has not confirmed that these outages were due to the cyber attack, but minor disturbances specified.
