The keyboard is basically illuminated in the form of a wave, in a dimmed manner, and illuminates each key in a color complementary to the color of the wave at that moment when pressed. We’ve found that sometimes the color on some keys freezes and doesn’t change until we restart the computer.

In addition to AIMO, there are other lighting modes, classic for this type of keyboard, such as wave, snake, static, heart rate 2.0, breath, fade or completely customizable. From Roccat Swarm, we can also control the brightness of the key illumination and adjust it to our liking.

As if that doesn’t have enough sound, the app also allows us to add extra sound to the keys, so it sounds like a laser or a typewriter. We can also control the delay or repetition rate as well as the blink rate of the cursor.

From Swarm, we can add special functions to each key, so when the keyboard is in game mode, we have access to it as quickly as possible.

Conclusions

Roccat’s Vulcan Pro is able to meet all the player’s wishes, maximum accuracy and complete customization. We missed a few more multimedia control buttons on the PC without having to resort to key functions, one of the play / pause would be perfect. We are also disappointed that it is not available in Spanish, as it would not only make it a gaming keyboard, but it would also give it the versatility it needs today.
