Under the collaboration of Aydem Retail and Gediz Retail, Young Guru Academy (YGA), 2500 primary school students living in the Aegean region will empower children to learn and adopt energy conservation by experiencing it from an early age, with the slogan “Your future with your energy”.

With this project, which will contribute to the awareness of children by raising awareness about energy saving in their daily lives, it aims to reach 2500 children living in the Aegean region over the year. Within the framework of “Science Sessions” created with the collaboration of YGA to the schools determined under the project, “How is energy produced?”, “How does it get to our home?”, “What is energy efficiency?” , “What are the storage methods? / How does it work?” Students get a hands-on experience of this information with VR glasses. With VR glasses, students can learn by experiencing that energy savings are achieved through the actions they perform in everyday life in the living areas of the kitchen, living room and children’s room.

Stressing the need for projects that benefit society and contribute to a sustainable future, Aydem Retail and Gediz Retail General Manager Serdar Marangoz said they will raise awareness of energy efficiency in children from an early age with the “Future with Your Energy” project, and with this project they offer children an opportunity to experience that they can apply in their daily lives. He stated that in the framework of “Science Sessions”, created in collaboration with Young Guru Academy, students can do various science experiments with science kits, while raising awareness of energy conservation at the same time.
