Deliveries of Toyota Land Cruiser 300 from China to Russia are arranged

Flagship SUV Toyota Land Cruiser 300 can stand on the conveyor belt in Chengdu, China. And despite the fact that the demand for the model in China is extremely small! In this way Toyota probably decided to increase production capacity (the queues for the car went up to four years) and at the same time to establish parallel imports. Will the “heavenly” LC300s come to Russia?

At the moment the frame is produced in one factory in Aichi, Japan, but as we know the demand is greater than the supply. Therefore, Toyota apparently decided to set up parallel production of the flagship model in China. What in particular says the publication Autohome.

We recall that in China Toyota has a joint venture with the ‘heavenly’ FAW, where 200s and younger Land Cruiser Prados were previously assembled. Admittedly, only for the local market, where off-road vehicles were unfortunately not particularly popular.

Apparently the new 300s produced in China will go to other markets including Japan and… possibly Russia. After all, our country is an important market for Land Cruisers in Europe. Of course, no one wants to lose a profit. And the ban imposed by the Japanese government on the import of cars worth more than 50,000 euros into Russia only applies to the top versions of the LC300. In other words, this will in no way stop Toyota from supplying us with Kruzaks assembled in China.
