Russians and Chinese can start designing cars together

Pablo Iturralde, director of the Advanced School of Electric Transport Engineering of Moscow Polytechnic University, and the leadership of Shanghai University agree on joint work.

Mr Iturralde noted that Chinese engineers are also working on racing cars. However, the colleagues from the People’s Republic of China do not have such developed student projects as in the Moscow Poly. Therefore, the possibility of participation of Chinese students and professors is discussed.

Recall that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is taking part in a meeting of the Russian-Chinese Business Forum, which is currently taking place in Shanghai. The head of the Russian government has already spoken at the plenary session of the forum, where he called for more active strengthening of the partnership and strategic interaction between Russia and China.

In particular, Mishustin noted that Russian universities have extensive experience in teaching in classical formats and are willing to share best practices and methods by inviting Chinese students to higher education and professional retraining programs.

It is also interesting that in April 2023, the Moscow Poly opened its representative office in Shanghai. This allows us to work directly not only with Asian universities and scientific organizations in the automotive industry, but also with entire industrial companies. So in the future we do not exclude the appearance of an affordable car, created by a development team from Russia and China.
