Manufacturer Hyundai and Kia have entered into an agreement for the payment of US$200 million and stop class action lawsuit against companies. According to The Verge, thefts can be easily committed as several 2015-2019 model year cars lacked the necessary parts to prevent theft. For this reason, a class action lawsuit was filed against both manufacturers. The companies offer software updates, wheel locks and cash to customers affected by theft.
