American automaker General Motors (GM) announced the complete purchase of an Israeli startup ALGOlion OOO. The company is known for developing software focused on battery life analysis for electric vehicles, which will now be used in the automaker’s system and will appear in several vehicles.

GM Battery Analysis Technology

A distinctive feature of the technology created by a startup is that it uses proprietary quantitative algorithms to detect any change in module integrity. This system is so accurate and advanced that the company claims it can detect minute component changes weeks earlier than other methods.

The software developer’s employees will remain in Israel and join the 850 employees present at the Technical Training Center grandmaster in Herzliya, Israel.
