Earlier, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, said that LADA Granta will get ABS this summer. Now a more precise date has become known – for example, commercial production of sedans, liftbacks and station wagons equipped with an anti-lock braking system will begin on August 1 in Togliatti.

The fact that LADA Granta will return ABS in August was announced by the public “Atypical AVTOVAZ”. The community had a production plan, which indicated that the factory would produce 13 sets of “Grants” in the last summer month, and the description of each version includes a long-awaited anti-lock braking system. Cars with ABS will also arrive at dealers from August.

Interestingly, the system itself is still a mystery – it’s not clear what exactly they’re going to bet on Granta. After all, Chinese ABS is used for Vesta and the testing of the Kostroma Itelma products has not yet been completed. Rather, we recall that the Grants were equipped with the German Bosch system.
