Hyundai, a South Korean automaker, is another automaker in the NFT business. The company will release its first exclusive collection NFTs (non-fungible tokens) in Metamobilitytitled “Estrela Cdente”, through the official website of the NFT between 9 and 10 May.

NFT to the Hyundai Metaverse

Collection “Shooting starbuilds on a movement that began on April 18 when Hyundai announced it would be the first automaker to create a global community NFTs. The first “Hyundai x Meta Kongz” collection will be sold out shortly after launch.

From 9 to 10 May Hyundai will sell 10,000 official Shooting Star NFTsnetwork based Ethereum, on their NFT website. The company chose the Ethereum platform because of its reliability and plans to sustainably change its mining system (NFT certification via blockchain) this year. Presale for whitelisted buyers who win a community event NFTs hosted by Hyundai will take place on May 9, followed by a massive sale on May 10 (see website for more information).

Hyundai Motor’s NFT Metability uses a “programmed reveal” method that displays the overall image first and then the actual and individual NFT images. By the end of May, 10,000 generic Shooting Star NFT images will be converted into unique Metamobility NFTs in various formats.

Metamobility

Earlier this year at CES 2022, Hyundai showcased its vision for metamobility. On this occasion, the automaker explained how, through the concept, the role of mobility will be extended to virtual reality (VR), which will ultimately allow people to overcome the physical limitations of movement in time and space. The idea runs through visions of how robots, for example, can act as an intermediary between the real world and virtual spaces, allowing humans to make changes to the metaverse that will be reflected in reality.
