Previously, as I remember, Russians actively spent the May holidays abroad, and also traveled en masse through their native countries in their own vehicles. This year, as the AvtoVzglyad portal found out, the preferences of our compatriots have changed dramatically.
On the eve of the May holidays, the AvtoVzglyad portal conducted a survey of a dedicated audience to find out where Russian motorists want to spend their big weekend. The results of the study, in which more than 6,000 people participated, were depressing.
So nearly 3,000 respondents said that “they will stay at home, because there is no money or no vote.” However, the choice of free time (more precisely, the absence of it) among 46% of the respondents is quite predictable. The situation in the country and the world does not promise pleasant emotions, and the increase in price of anything and everything literally ridicules the lion’s share of private cars.
However, 30% of the survey participants chose to travel “to the country with their families, because today it is not safe to travel”. This is how 1866 people answered. People probably won’t be rushing to the Black Sea coast this year either.
Apparently, those who do not have a country house decided to have a picnic at the campsite, expected with their own “wheels”. 872 people (14%) voted for the answer “outdoor recreation by the river is everything to us”. And 5% of the votes fell on holidays in Zabugorye and car trips to Russian sights. So, only 287 respondents planned to “go by car across the country”, and 284 – “fly to the sea abroad”. The latter simply don’t care about the crisis or politics, according to a survey by the AvtoVzglyad portal.
