The refreshed LADA Vesta, undoubtedly the most anticipated car premiere of the current year, went on sale just over a month ago. And it started very confidently, spanning the three weeks of June with a run of 4258 cars. However, as the AvtoVzglyad portal found out, many Russians are still not ready to buy a refreshed flagship.
More than half, namely 56%, of the respondents who took part in the survey of the AvtoVzglyad portal admitted that they may want to buy a LADA Vesta NG, but they are “discouraged” by the price. Like, 1,240,000 rubles (this is how much the basic equipment costs) is too expensive for “our brand”.
Another 20% of drivers would not take Vesta because they choose cars of a different class. The option “I don’t buy, I prefer one of the Chinese sedans” was clicked by 8% of the survey participants. “Already bought” – 2%. And only 15% of the respondents declared their willingness to vote in rubles for the novelty, agreeing that the Togliatti flagship is quite a modern car.
