In recent weeks the country has been ravaged by a spate of thefts and thefts, so leaving a car unattended now brings unpleasant consequences. Plus, the same troubles can overtake our brother where you least expect it. For example, in cemeteries where motorists come to honor the memory of the dead.

So in Chita, a local resident’s car was parked near the city cemetery. The owner abandoned the car and went looking for spare parts, but a 28-year-old man with a previous conviction felt you couldn’t help repairing an old Nissan. Therefore, he caught up with the broken “Japanese” to the courtyard of his house, where … he dismantled it in order to buy spare parts.

Or here’s another clear example of the fact that transportation can’t go unattended now. In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, two friends decided to go to the cemetery to commemorate the dead. At first, the men wanted to ask their friend to give them a ride, but then they simplified the task by simply stealing someone else’s car. Which eventually broke.

Another “cemetery story” came from Omsk. There, two men, searching for the burial sites of their relatives, got out of the car just a few minutes. And when they returned, they found the loss of a cell phone, a bank card, a driver’s license and two bottles of vodka. All this was necessary for a passerby who was convicted three times.

In Yalta, in order not to provoke thieves, a woman took the valuables out of the car. But while she was clearing the graves, she carelessly hung the bag, which contained the wallet and credit cards, on a tree branch. The reticle was loved by a young couple who, having found a bank card, bought food worth 11,000 rubles at someone else’s expense.

In general, only one conclusion emerges from all these “tales from the crypt”. Be careful! Do not leave cars and the like unattended, not even ‘for a few minutes’. After all, attackers are now not only not napping, but are willing to commit crimes, even where it would be particularly embarrassing to do so.

By the way, in the current circumstances, many motorists are thinking about strengthening the protection of their “swallows”. Some consider installing additional alarms, others consider installing the so-called anti-theft markings. What this procedure is and, most importantly, how effective it is, the AvtoVzglyad portal found out.
