Progress does not stand still and makes the technologies of the future available in the present. In particular, we are talking about innovations in environmental protection, about which car manufacturers almost without exception shout. In reality, however, “green” developments will not make humanity better, but throw a big bullet.
Probably only the blind have not noticed how capricious nature has been in recent years, “contented” with summer snows, sudden changes in temperature and dramatic climate change. Is it really true that these disasters are so strongly influenced by internal combustion engines “ejecting” toxic substances into the atmosphere? Of course not. However, automakers lobbying for green technologies are convinced that moving away from ICE cars will make the world incredibly cleaner and fatter.
At the same time, the problem of electric vehicles remains unsolved worldwide. No wonder, because where can one get so much lithium on the planet and how to recycle colossal amounts of batteries that will poison the earth more than the remains of gasoline engines? Therefore, hydrogen propaganda has become a new trick among the auto business players. But hydrogen cars freshly squeezed in various design bureaus are not environmentally friendly at all.
So Norwegian scientists from the CICERO climate center came to the conclusion that hydrogen has an extremely negative impact on global warming on the planet. What does it mean? Under the influence of higher temperatures, weather conditions change and the usual balance of the environment is disturbed. And this is a direct threat to humanity and other life forms on Earth.
It turns out that gas with the smallest molecules undergoes a chemical reaction in the stratosphere with ozone, water vapor, methane and aerosols during leakage, significantly amplifying the greenhouse effect. During research on the example of three-dimensional models of chemical compounds, it was found that 1 kg of hydrogen emissions over 100 years will have the same effect on global warming as 4.3 kg of carbon dioxide.
And given how H2 interacts with other gases in the atmosphere, it will be at least 12 times more destructive to nature! Meanwhile, the automotive industry has never learned how to completely equalize hydrogen leakage, ensuring tightness during production and transportation. Here you have new technologies, which turned out to be much more destructive than the old ones.
In other words, car manufacturers are not preserving nature, but destroying it, shamelessly taking advantage of gullible consumers. Among them are the Japanese Toyota, the Bavarian BMW, the Korean Hyundai and numerous “Chinese”. But, as they say, enough for their lives. Or not?
