The restyled Sorento features a new head optic with a Y-shaped pattern of daytime running lights. Light blocks are now vertical and there are four in each headlight. From this we conclude that the optics are “smart”. It will not dazzle drivers of oncoming cars and will also mark the turns themselves.
The radiator grille is noticeably enlarged, and the designers placed the brand emblem on the hood. The shape of the front and rear bumpers has also changed and the lights have a new LED pattern.
The salon has undergone quite serious innovations. There are two large displays. At the same time, it was necessary to change the shape of the air ducts in order to “slide” the second, that is, the central one. This made them more compact. It is also interesting that the former climate control unit was replaced by a very small touch screen.
In addition, there is information that the consumer will be offered new colors to finish the “inner world” of the car, and the owner’s fingerprint scanner will be available as an option, making it difficult to steal a car.
As for technology, there is no information about it yet. Full details are expected to be revealed in August at the official premiere. We hope that after the start of sales, the new Sorento will reach us via parallel import.
