Subaru Legacy got zigzag headlights after the update
A month ago, the Subaru brand restyled the Outback crossover, and now the related Legacy sedan has also received a package of adjustments. The AvtoVzglyad portal examined how the refreshed four-door differs from its pre-reform predecessor.

Let’s say right away that sales of updated sedans will begin in the fall, but only in the North American market. So there is absolutely no chance that the Russians can buy the Subaru Legacy. Too bad, because the car turned out very nice.

During restyling, the car got a larger radiator grille, new bumpers and, most importantly, fashionable zigzag headlights. They coolly refreshed the image of the model, making the look more sporty.

In the cabin, the main new thing is the redrawn graphics of the upper media system, which is equipped with an 11.6-inch vertical screen. In addition, the “multimedia” has learned to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.

The EyeSight driver assistance system has gotten smarter and the top-of-the-line Touring XT now generally relies on a next-generation complex. It’s faster, smarter and most importantly, it can steer away from obstacles at speeds of up to 80 km/h.

But the power sources remained the same. The buyer can choose between aspirated (185 hp) or turbo four (264 hp) with a capacity of 2.5 and 2.4 liters respectively. Both engines come with a V-chain variator and four-wheel drive.

And continue the theme of Japanese novelties. The fourth generation Toyota Highlander crossover has undergone a planned update. The main result is that the Japanese have retired the legendary naturally aspirated V6 and replaced it with a turbocharged engine.
