By the end of 2022, Volkswagen wants to roll out a new model, a full-size crossover called Tavendor. The first pictures of the future novelty have already spread around the world wide web. With which a fresh German SUV is ready to surprise the consumer, the AvtoVzglyad portal discovered.

Judging by the fact that information about the car has been circulated by the Chinese media, it will appear there for the first time. However, it is possible that Tavendor will come to us in the near future.

The model is known to have dimensions of the crossover 4936 x 2015 x 1756 mm, and it is based on the famous MQB modular “trolley”. The wheelbase of the five-seater “German” is 2980 mm.

The engine is located transversely, its power is 186 forces from two liters of volume. Sure, turbo boost. Probably a preselective gearbox with a double “wet” clutch is coupled to it. Unfortunately, there are no other technical details yet.

We recall that in China, Volkswagen has a joint venture with the local car giant FAW, on whose premises the Tavendor assembly facility will be located.
