In general, a bent connecting rod and burnt out piston are a completely familiar sight to mechanics on such engines.

Calcium is bad for engine health

Studies have shown that the calcium content in the lubricant (which is responsible for the cleaning and neutralizing properties of the lubricant) increases the incidence of LSPI by 3 times.

And molybdenum, on the contrary, neutralizes the effect of pre-ignition at low speeds. The additives in THE BEAST DEXOS 1 5W-30 oil are thus balanced so that the lubricant also has good cleaning properties and also prevents the appearance of LSPI, which extends the life of the engine.
