Among them were a factory near Solnechnogorsk in the Moscow region, an official distributor of branded cars in the Russian Federation and a leasing department. Avtodom also transferred the authority to carry out brand maintenance of the vehicle brand in our country.

At the same time, it was announced that assembly of Chinese premium Hongqi cars had begun at the former Mercedes industrial site near Moscow. So now it does not become very clear: either the previous reports about the assembly of the “Chinese” did not correspond to reality, or Mr. Manturov is actually unaware of what is happening in the former Mercedes plant.

In addition, it was recently announced that Mercedes-Benz has disconnected all Russian official gas stations of the brand from their servers. This means the elimination of the possibility of using proprietary software for the repair and maintenance of German cars in Russia.
