The main task of buying up is to do it quickly. Wasted time is frozen money that did not have time to make one or even two circles and therefore did not bring any income. There can therefore be no question of a long-term construction: there is a minimum of time from purchase to sale. On the other hand, the product must look dignified, attractive and expensive, otherwise the desired amount will not be paid for it. Balancing between the hammer and the anvil, the “traders” devise methods that are fantastic in their simplicity and cheapness, and contribute to the transformation of an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan.
Every seller knows what we buy with our eyes. You can sing about the features for a long time, but if the “visual” fails, there will be no deal. So chips, which, on the one hand, guarantee the absence of “craft” paint layers, and, on the other, spoil the appearance, in four cases out of four the price is reduced. So you have to paint. The question is how? If the Maybach is fully sold, the investment will recover. And if “Zhiguli”? Or a used foreign car from the lower price segment?
There is also a proven technique here: they do not use pots, pencils and other things – it is expensive, and the paint is likely to burn out over time, so the color will not work. On the market, “color” is selected in the smallest container and mixed there with varnish. The resulting “compote” and will be fixed.
After shredding, it is “prepared”: we process the loose edges with a “six-hundredth” sandpaper, remove the rust, then carefully apply the prepared composition with a thin brush or cotton swab and let it dry. The process even has its own name: the chip is “buried in” – you do not need to smear and wave a brush, you just need to gently drip.
After 10 minutes – the second layer. Next – with a “thousandth” sandpaper we sand it within a radius of a five-ruble coin from a chip. Then – “two thousandth” in the radius of the palm. Then – polishing paste and machine. The whole operation takes an hour, but the result, as practice shows, lasts up to a couple of years. And it costs about 1000 ₽ for the whole car!
To realize financial feasibility, it is enough to remember that painting one part, even in the most monstrous garage, will not cost less than 7,000 rubles – the materials are now very expensive. In any case, you can “drip” the whole car, and then complete polishing after that will “cut” the most ugly “diamond”.
