Henceforth, a 100% stake in Renault Russia will be owned by the Moscow government and nearly 68% of the securities will be transferred to NAMI. The remaining shares of the domestic auto giant will remain with Rostec.
“AvtoVAZ will service Renault cars in the Russian market,” representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade officially confirmed.
It is worth adding that Renault has full right to buy back its share in the next six years.
Meanwhile, the Renault plant in the capital can resume production of … “Moskvich”! Admittedly, this doesn’t bode well. And here’s why.
