Secondly, the oil separator reduces the risk of coking of the piston rings to some extent. It traps all the oil mist, leaving quite a bit of soot in the combustion chamber.
Thirdly, motor oil also ages less, because it does not have to wash out all impurities. Let’s not forget the neutralizer. Its resources are also increasing.
But there is a nuance. If you make the device yourself, do not forget to drain the condensate from it before the cold weather. Otherwise, the fluid will get into the lubricant, which will end badly for the drive unit.
Small improvements such as placing magnets on the drain plug and oil filter are also very useful. Previously, car manufacturers did this themselves, but for economic reasons they stopped. Magnets, on the other hand, trap metal chips perfectly, and the oil does not repeatedly “drive” them through the system.
Finally, it’s a good idea to build an antifreeze filter into the line. But fuel in a plastic shell will not work: hot antifreeze will simply melt it. You can take an analogue for a diesel engine, although you need to follow it. But the cooling system will be clean.
