At the same time, new engines are massively imported from China, made, as a rule, under license, which visually do not differ much from the original, stand up without modifications, have a full set of documents necessary for the legalization of the “replacement of the heart”, but at the same time cost about one hundred thousand rubles.
The price of a “swap” (engine replacement) and a standard maintenance kit is another 30,000 rubles. In total, we have 130,000 “wooden” for a new unit already installed in the car, and 200,000 for a sorted old one, which does not know how to behave. Maybe it will take a hundred years, or maybe it will crash tomorrow! It seems that the choice is unequivocal, whatever you say, but opinions are divided in the communities. And most of all – for the shot!
It turned out that the new Chinese engines have been running for only a few years, and there is no point in sorting them out – they are made of foil. There are many complaints about overheating, sensitivity to engine oil and intolerance to harsh operating conditions. And it is our eternal traffic jams, difficult conditions. Very quickly, after 50,000 – 60,000 km, such engines begin to “please” their owner with extraneous noise, spare parts according to the vin code no longer fight, and when sold, such a replacement will only lead to a forced price reduction. So it’s not just gold that glitters, and saving now should not lead to losses in the future.
