Our colleagues from Rossiyskaya Gazeta discovered an advertisement for the sale of the extremely controversial KYC F3 pickup, a product of the commercial division of the Changan brand, known in our country. Some time ago, dealers brought a number of vans of this brand under the ‘grey’ scheme and now our customers have been offered a truck.
For a 2023 car with a “clean” odometer, the seller asks 2,299,000 rubles. Quite a lot, if you consider that the equipment of the pick-up is rather mediocre. Take the power couple for example: a weak 1.6-liter engine with 122 hp and a five-speed manual gearbox. The drive is rear-wheel drive. And fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 9 liters per 100 km.
Of course, if you look at the sales results of new cars in Russia, you will see that pick-up trucks have grown rapidly in recent months. Let’s say that in January-July of this year our fellow citizens bought more trucks than in the entire year of 2022.
