But the design features of the body of the same “sheds”, “hatches” and SUVs do not allow the cars to remain in a neat condition and envelop the stern with a thick layer of dirt. If there’s no wiper on the rear window, it’s a lost cause. Neither parking sensors, nor rear-view cameras, nor other auxiliary assistants, which also refuse to function in bad weather, will help.
But if with cars with high ground clearance and a plank-like body everything is somehow clear, then with hatchbacks a question arises. Essentially this is the same sedan, but with the rear cut off. That one, but not the cake! The rear window has a lower inclination angle here and is therefore immediately covered with dust and all kinds of dirt. Although the coupe has a fairly low level of rear windows, beauty here, as they say, requires sacrifice.
Automakers deprive a fashionable car of a rear window wiper so as not to spoil the aesthetic appearance. Thanks for not at least taking away the heated rear window. But again, we repeat, before cars were equipped with cleaner brushes. Take the same eighth-generation Mitsubishi Galant or the Ford Escort from the 80s-90s.
However, “windshield wipers” were also installed on the front optics at that time, but now their place is taken by windshield washers, which only spray water or “wash” on the headlights, without ridding the lighting equipment of dirt deposits. Well, what can you do: in the past, as you know, the grass was greener and the dollar was six rubles…
