As the Quto portal reports with reference to a Geely dealer, the Emgrand sedan for the Russian market will have a 122 hp engine and a six-speed automatic transmission instead of a CVT. But the main feature of the new product will be a very rich basic package – the list of equipment includes LED lighting, multifunction steering wheel, engine start button, electric windows, central locking and front airbags.
The first version of Emgrand also gets a stabilization system, 15-inch steel wheels, fabric upholstery and air conditioning. A multimedia system is included in all trim levels, but only with an 8-inch screen. Buyers of top modifications get a large touchscreen.
The exact prices will be announced before the start of sales, but the dealer, citing Geely’s Russian representative office, said that the basic version will cost about 1,900,000 rubles. For the flagship package you have to pay half a million extra.
