The Haima brand is known to long-time fans of the Chinese automotive industry – this brand was present in Russia from 2010 to 2016. According to the Chinese Cars portal, citing Haima’s exclusive distributor in Russia, MVL Auto, the cars are already being prepared for their market debut, which will take place on October 20. The brand’s list of future dealers includes nine car dealers, all located in the regions. In the first year of its presence on the Russian market, MVL Auto plans to increase the number of dealers to 40, in the second year to 80, and by the third year to at least a hundred.
Haima will attract buyers and fight competitors with the 8S crossover and 7X minivan. The first model has dimensions of 4565x1850x1682 mm – slightly larger than Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max or Geely Atlas Pro. The crossover is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo engine that produces 195 hp. Of. and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Drive is front-wheel drive only. The second model with dimensions 4815x1874x1720 mm gets the same power plant and three rows of seats in the cabin.
The price of the 8S crossover will be 3.2-3.4 million rubles, depending on the configuration, the 7X minivan – 3.6-3.8 million.
