At the end of September this year, Russian dealers sold 36,231 LADA passenger and commercial vehicles, which is 8.7% more than in August. In nine months, the number of cars sold reached 242,552 units – 96% more than in the same period last year.
According to the AVTOVAZ press service, LADA Vesta updated its March 2022 record: 7,301 cars were sold in September. A total of 24,381 vehicles have been sold since the updated version of the flagship was launched on the market.
LADA Granta sold 19,913 units – this is a new record since the start of production and 48.4% higher than in September last year.
Last month, 4,070 Niva Legend SUVs were also sold, which is the best figure since 2014, while Niva Travel sales in September amounted to 4,295 vehicles.
Let’s add that AVTOVAZ produced more than 118,000 cars in the third quarter of 2023, which is 1.7 times higher than the April-June result.
