The third-generation Lexus IS sedan debuted in 2013, but instead of changing generations, the Japanese automaker updated it just once. The IS 300, 350 and 500 versions received
The basic version of the Lexus IS 300 has been given the F Sport version with 19-inch wheels with a special design, ‘sporty’ front seats with heating and ventilation, a different steering wheel and aluminum pedals. The IS 350 F Sport version received the Blackout package as an option: black 19-inch BBS wheels, mirror caps and black chrome decorative elements.
The flagship Lexus IS 500 has an Incognito version with black wheels, hood, roof, mirror covers, rear spoiler and black chrome body cladding. There is also a limited version with the long name IS 500 F Sport Performance Premium – this gets an exclusive blue exterior color and forged 19-inch wheels, and the interior is decorated with blue stitching. Only 150 of these units will roll off the assembly line.
All equipment remained untouched: the IS 300 has a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 244 hp in rear-wheel drive and a 3.5-liter V6 with 264 hp in all-wheel drive. The Lexus IS 350, with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, is equipped with the same 3.5-liter V6, but with an output of 315 hp. Finally, the top model IS 500 still has the old-fashioned 5.0-liter V8 with 479 hp.
The updated Lexus IS will be on the market before the end of the year. New IS sedans are no longer on sale in Russia, and three-year-old cars with low mileage are offered on the secondary market for about 5,000,000 rubles.
