Insiders from the car giant Togliatti have noted an acute shortage of airbags for new cars. Several hundred cars from the Granta family and Niva SUVs, which were assembled this weekend, came off the assembly line without airbags.
According to the public news page Avtograd on the social network VKontakte with reference to AVTOVAZ employees, on Saturday, October 14, 590 Granta cars without airbags rolled off the assembly line during a 12-hour shift.
