— There are several busy streets in Moscow where parking is prohibited, for example New Arbat. If a user tries to order a car there, the application will ask him to walk a few meters to a point where there are no parking restrictions. In this case, the driver can park without causing problems for other road users, and the passenger can get into the car comfortably, Yandex explains.

The scope of the new taxi-calling algorithm will soon expand, the company clarifies and emphasizes that the innovation is aimed at complying with traffic rules. “The user can easily reach all offered landing points in a few minutes on foot,” assures Yandex.
