The car was given a new corporate identity with L-shaped daytime running lights and vertically positioned headlights. The lanterns have noticeably grown in size. Carnival also received a new grille, updated bumpers and a slightly different design of the tailgate: the logo and license plate on it are placed lower.
Kia has not yet revealed what is hidden inside – it is expected that the model, like other new products from the brand, will also get a single screen for the dashboard and multimedia system. But it is known that the minivan is available in seven, nine and 11-seat versions. In terms of technology, Carnival has become a hybrid in the spirit of the times: there will be a version with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. Specifications have not yet been announced.
There are also ‘regular’ fuel versions – with a 3.5-liter petrol V6 with an output of 294 hp. Of. and a 194 hp diesel engine. The release date for the updated Carnival will be announced in November. The minivan can reach Russia only through parallel imports – the pre-restyling modification is now offered for 4,850,000 – 7,900,000 rubles.
