As TASS reports, Sergei Gromak, vice president for external relations and interaction with shareholders of AVTOVAZ, said during a roundtable discussion in the Federation Council that production of the LADA Aura should begin in September 2024. “We plan to launch several more new models in the next two years. Next year the electric car e-Largus will be released in Izhevsk. The LADA Aura business class sedan will be launched sometime in September,” he noted.

A representative of the factory added that AVTOVAZ will release a new model in early 2025 – LADA Iskra, which should become the most affordable car on the market. In addition, it is planned to present the urban crossover LADA B+ Cross on the Vesta platform by the end of 2025.

Let us remind you that the Aura differs from Vesta in that the wheelbase has been extended by 25 cm to increase space for the rear passengers, as well as in the interior trim made of genuine Russian-made leather.
