As Vedomosti reports, RTDS’s claim is already in the filing cabinet of the Moscow Arbitration Court, the amount of claims for it amounts to 534 million rubles. A preliminary hearing will take place on November 27. The compensation amount is calculated according to the Renault methodology and totals about 150 million rubles per dealership, explains Andrey Petrenko, vice president of ROAD and owner of RTDS. This company had four salons of the French brand.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of BN-Motors Alexey Podshchekoldin noted that they have filed two lawsuits against Renault – at the Arbitration Court of the Kaluga Region. The first meeting will take place on May 28 next year and the number of demands will amount to 228 million rubles.
When Renault left the Russian market in the spring of 2022, the brand was represented by 152 dealers. The French assets were eventually transferred to the state, but the company was given an option to buy back its share from AVTOVAZ within six years.
