Last week, Russia’s largest gas station opened in the capital region. It can refuel 40 cars at the same time and in addition there are 2 powerful columns for charging electric cars. And to demonstrate the volt-ampere economy, Neftmagistral invited the company Evolut.

Let’s just remind you. In the Lipetsk region there is an industrial park “Rozhdestvo”, which includes the Motorinvest car factory. In 2014, SUVs with the Great Wall Hover H3 frame began production here, and in 2016 the conveyor belt was reformatted for the assembly of Changan crossovers, which took three years.

Now the stalled company is preparing to launch the production of completely different cars – electric vehicles under the Evolute brand. The plans of the newly minted manufacturer include a sedan, a minivan and three crossovers, which, as it became known to the AvtoVzglyad portal, will be shown to the public and journalists this summer.

At the same time, the junior crossover and minivan lit up quite unexpectedly at the aforementioned gas station opening! Cars were literally at the event for 15 minutes. However, the AvtoVzglyad portal managed to take several photos before the trains quietly pulled away in an unknown direction.

These photos clearly show that both machines are products of the Chinese engineering group Sokon Group. However, instead of the original decals, electric vehicles sport Evolute nameplates (although the minibus has the Dongfeng badge on the steering wheel which is simply covered with a black adhesive film).

Representatives of Evolute did not give details and offered to wait for the summer presentation … Therefore, we repeat the statements already known. After investing 13 billion rubles, the Russian manufacturer will organize the assembly of electric vehicles in a full cycle, it is planned to send more than 20,000 cars to dealers annually.

The flagship of the model line will be the converted Voyah Free crossover: this electric car is equipped with two electric motors with a total power of 694 forces at the same time! Russia has never mass-produced machines of such power. Most importantly, the price tag of a cheerful novelty does not turn out to be prohibitive.
