At the beginning of April, the European Union imposed a ban on trucks from Russia and Belarus. Belarus, in turn, has imposed counter-sanctions, prohibiting the access of carriers’ vehicles … At the exit, a rather paradoxical scheme has developed: in the Belarusian transport and logistics center, re-hooking or reloading takes place, and then the freight is transported by a Belarusian or Russian carrier.

However, according to the rules of the licensing system of Kazakhstan, if the cargo is initially transported by a carrier from Europe, it must take it to its destination. And when European goods are transhipped to Belarusian or Russian truck drivers, such a truck is detained by employees of the Transport Control Inspectorate of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In order to release the road train, the original carrier must arrive at the place of detention (i.e. in Kazakhstan), where he must present a transport permit.

It is clear that not every shipper of goods wants this… In addition, a hefty fine is imposed on drivers of detained vehicles, which now amounts to about 90,000 Russian rubles. The penalty for a legal person is already 220,000 (qua).

While the concerned parties resolve the issue, carriers from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus are advised not to deliver to Kazakhstan any goods that have been reloaded or repackaged on the territory of Belarus.

It cannot be ruled out that in this way the authorities of Kazakhstan try to annoy Russian and Belarusian companies that receive Kazakhstan numbers for heavy trucks to enter Europe freely and leave from there under the flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan .
