The head of AVTOVAZ’s sales and business development department in foreign markets, Andrey Vladimirtsev, said that Iran is “a very priority, very important” for the export of LADA cars. According to him, the car giant Tolyatti has everything it takes to succeed in this country.
As RIA Novosti reports, a representative of AVTOVAZ at the Eurasia Expo exhibition opened in Tehran said that the resolution of problems with technical regulations and certification of LADA in Iran is already in the works – Vesta, Granta and Niva Travel – models will soon be available presented there.
“We are now ready to offer a model range that meets both customer expectations and market demands. The Iranian market is ready and willing to buy and service our cars, that is, there is our customer here, there are many of them, and the market is large and very interesting,” Vladimirtsev noted.
Moreover, he added that AVTOVAZ “has found the third necessary component for the successful launch of a company: a reliable partner.” We are talking about the company Nika Motor, the distributor of LADA in Iran.
In addition, Vladimirtsev said that in the future AVTOVAZ plans to switch to the assembly of cars in this country. According to him, this will be more effective than setting up a joint company.
