And then it became uninteresting, economically unprofitable, that’s all,” he explained.
“Due to certain circumstances, from the dollar exchange rate to the recycling fee, prices for all cars have increased significantly. The price of an Iranian car should be 20-30% lower than a Chinese one, then it would be interesting,” said Stepanov. According to the top manager, the company realized that they simply could not sell Saipa cars at the price they had previously planned.
In March, Best Motors announced deliveries to Russia of Saina and Shahin sedans, as well as Quik hatchbacks – at the start of sales their price would be 1-1.7 million rubles. In April, the company published the characteristics of the machines on its website, but now it no longer works.
