The Odyssey Neo G9 is the first monitor from the Korean manufacturer to feature Mini LED on-panel lighting technology, a feature previously only found on the brand’s new Neo QLED TVs. Panel size 49 inches, aspect ratio 32:9 and curvature 1000R. Its resolution is 5120 x 1440 pixels, which is equivalent to two 27″ QuadHD monitors on a 49″ screen.

The panel uses LCD technology and miniLED lighting with lamps 1/40 the size of a conventional LED. Due to the reduced size of the lamps, more lamps can be included in the display. Thanks to this, the monitor can deliver higher contrast ratios and peak brightness up to 2,000 nits, according to Samsung.
