Traveling along the new toll highway M12 “East” on the Moscow-Kazan route for motorists will cost almost four and a half thousand rubles. With a transponder you can collect several hundred “wooden” copies through the loyalty program.
As Izvestia reported, Konstantin Makiev, vice chairman of the board of directors for operator activities and development of user services at Avtodor, said that the stretch from Moscow to Arzamas will currently cost 2,800 rubles for motorists. “The intention is to open the remaining part with a full passage to Kazan. If we count from Moscow to the first exit to Kazan, the fare will be 4,481 rubles.”
A little earlier, Vladimir Putin responded during his “direct line” to a call from a Moscow resident who complained about the high fares for travel on this highway. According to him, the fare costs almost 6,000 rubles, although the amount before it was about 4,000.
The president promised to check this information, after which Avtodor hastened to make a statement and announce the exact price. Makiev also noted that owners of the transponder can receive bonuses for every 50 km traveled and get up to 15% discount on the return journey – making the Moscow-Kazan route cost 3,800 rubles.
