In fact, thanks to the 20% ‘fork’, there have always been dealers who offered (for example on marketplaces) fuel in cans, kegs or on tap at prices noticeably lower than at gas stations.
The Tax Authorities do not approve of such ‘tricks’ at all, but it is quite difficult to get hold of supporters of the described business concept.
But now that the cost gap between wholesale and retail gallons of fuel has nearly doubled, people have flocked to this gray market with even more ‘big-scale’ thinking. They have now revived the long forgotten method of selling directly from fuel tankers. A fly-by-night company buys 10 tons of the same AI-95 in bulk, pours the fuel into a tanker truck, and then sells it to anyone in a remote location. In capital cities it is sometimes problematic to organize such an event, but “in the periphery” it is possible.
The main feature in this case is the speed of deployment of the entire batch. Advertising such services on social networks and free advertising sites is crucial for such merchants. And the New Year’s holidays come in very handy here. Fuel truck fuel sellers announce special New Year’s promotions on the Internet to attract customers. Even to the point of drawing “coupons” for free refueling.
After all, they must somehow attract a distrustful potential buyer who fears the consequences for the health of the engine after fuel of questionable origin and quality enters the tank. Every car owner who takes the risk has every chance to save fuel.
