According to the AGR press service, under the terms of the deal, two production sites of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus in St. Petersburg, located in the Kamenka and Shushary industrial zones, were transferred to Art-Finance. It was approved by a subcommittee of the Government Commission on Control of Foreign Investments in the Russian Federation, as well as by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
It is noted that in the near future the name of the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus plant will be changed – the new name will be announced separately after all procedures for its registration are completed.
The AGR Group, owner of the Art-Finance company, noted that the main task is to maintain work teams and make good use of their professional skills and competencies. “The automotive industry is actively supported by the Government of the Russian Federation. We are confident that with such support we will be able to achieve high results in this sector,” said Alexey Kalitsev, CEO of AGR.
