Amazon sent us the second generation kidney echo, your wireless active noise canceling headset with built-in Alexa. In essence, a product that has a full-time active voice assistant that accompanies you wherever you go.

The company launches a headset for the first time in the Brazilian market. It arrived here in February (it arrived in the USA last year) and already in the second version costs about 900 BRL. Currently, the price of the model ranges from 600 to 800 reais.

ALEXA

The hallmark of this wireless headset is perhaps Alexa, Amazon’s personal assistant. Although you can connect Google Assistant (by Google) or Siri (Apple) to these headphones, native Alexa works as if the user was always accompanied by an Amazon Echo. With it, you can perform voice commands such as ask to play a song, put it on the radio station, control the volume, pause, skip a track, ask for the time, create a reminder and a number of other functions.

Headphones have an option to turn off the microphones for the assistant app. You also have control over your voice recordings and can view, listen to or delete them at any time. While this option guarantees greater privacy, disabling Alexa deprives the headset of its maximum potential, namely the simplicity and practicality of an assistant.
