AVTOVAZ is finally coming out of hibernation: after several weeks of inactivity, the conveyor belts of the Russian car giant have started moving. The AvtoVzglyad portal found out the details of the rhythm in which the flagship of the domestic auto industry can operate.
According to the official Viber channel “AT THE PLANT”, the welding of the bodies started on Friday, June 3, the painting of the welded bodies will start on Monday and the production of the first commercial vehicles will start on Wednesday. The work of other divisions of the company, engaged in stamping, motor assembly and other work, has also resumed.
For now, AVTOVAZ will only produce the LADA Granta family. But according to the forecast, production of LADA Largus cars and LADA Niva SUVs should start on June 9 or 13.
We venture to suggest that the simplified Grants, devoid of anti-lock brakes, airbags and the ERA-GLONASS module, will be the first to leave the conveyor belt.
