New cars only return to Russia assembled

Anti-Russian sanctions are falling on our country like a cornucopia. The foreigners leave Russia in tense silence and take the car industry with them. The government is bloated with optimism and avoids detail. The mayor of the capital imitated the luminary of the car industry for a week, but gave up. Factories will be shut down until the end of the year, but most likely forever. Since we have only developed LADA Vesta throughout the twenty-first century, you should not expect any competences from yourself today, face to face with reality. There is no technical school, interested students in institutes, change of teachers, motors, gearboxes, electronics and chips, ABS and ESP, manufacturing of components, access to technology.

In this desert landscape, we are faced with the prospect of following the path of Switzerland: abandoning our own automotive industry and leaving only the production of military equipment. Then we only have to deal with the problem of control, supervision and writing regulations.

Today we failed this work by making too many controllers and issuing too many bans. The pinnacle of the madness was the Customs Union Grid Code, which spawned insurmountable technical inspection rules, which made it easier to basically eliminate the TRP completely. And the decrees on industrial assembly and SPIKs have ruined the investment climate forever and no other country will knock on our door. But the prospect of becoming an attractive market remains.

Consulting with government agencies, most of which have to be canceled, we are gradually moved to finished cars assembled far from Russia. And finally, they will fill consumer niches by offering optimal products for different categories of the population, in all climatic zones and in all off-road conditions.

Our current auto industry didn’t even dare to do this, leaving the province at the mercy of fate and producing big city equipment and good asphalt. After saturating the market and meeting the needs, we will definitely want to be proud of something. It is important for us to admire ourselves and be giddy with the successes of others. Then it’s time to breathe new life into your own brands. Without industry it will be easy to do.

We will place orders for production, as happened with the German brand Borgward, which is actually the Chinese Beiqi Foton Motor. Remembering the aftertaste of working with us for a long time, foreigners will still dare, because they will work safely at home, and not in Russia. Therefore, there is a chance that a few desperate, ready under a contract and for a lot of money, will be found to return to us the memorable names “Moskvich”, “Volga”, “Zhiguli” and even “Zaporozhets” .. .
